Angulo SUP boards are constructed currently in the three different ways. The first two are broken down in the layer document to the right, AST and EST.
AST is the most common of the higher end constructions used in the SUP industry and allows us to keep the quality comparable to the rest of the SUP market, yet very affordable.
EST is the best weight to strength construction available in the market, much more expensive to build, but way “sweeter” to ride!
XLT found in the Gu’d 10’10 and 14’0 Shaka, is the lightest, yet very durable, construction used at the production level in the market. Remember; always look to Angulo for cutting edge construction & performance…
This question was recently asked to Ed Angulo; he explains what sets Angulo SUP’s apart from the rest:
“I got into building boards because I am a surfer and have a passion for the lifestyle that it provides. I’ve been blessed with a family that has that same love for the ocean. The result is a product line that is inspired because of the fun we want to have. The quality standard is required for us to experience the absolute best time possible. We ride what we sell and the consumer reaps the benefit of our quest for the best.” – Ed Angulo, Master shaper, Maui Hawaii
